This tutorial will show you how to setup Google Analytics to track both newsletter confirmations and signups using MailChimp.

First you need two pages created on your website. One page will track the initial newsletter submission, the second will track the actual number of confirmed opt-in email addresses.

For this example we have created the following two pages:

http://smokiesphotoblog.com/mailchimp-please-confirm-your-account/

http://smokiesphotoblog.com/confirmed-newsletter-signup/

This tutorial will assume that you have already installed the Google Analytics tracking code on your website.

Setup MailChimp for Tracking
